POTABLE WATER LOANS/TRANSFERS
Forestal Comaco maintains a strong and permanent relationship of commitment and collaboration with its neighbors. One of the initiatives is the free transfer of the land for potable water facilities to the rural committees in charge of supplying this resource to the communities of Rariruca and Caupolicán de Purén. Thus, they can apply for projects that allow them to improve and expand the facilities and thereby better serve the community.
NEIGHBORS TRAINING
Forestal Comaco committed to Train its neighbors according to their requests and the Company’s interests. Through these trainings, we contribute to improving the local economic development of the neighbors. For this reason, training has been carried out in productive activities, such as planting and harvesting techniques, which have made it possible to privilege the hiring of local labor.
In addition, residents have been trained on topics such as: Hanta Virus, Risk Prevention, Housekeeping, Flora and Fauna with Conservation problems and Certification Principles and Criteria, in order to inform the community and improve their quality of life. life.
NON-TIMBER FOREST PRODUCTS BOARD (P.F.N.M.)
Forestal Comaco is an active member of the Board of Collectors of Non-Timber Forest Products. It seeks the recognition of collectors as a productive activity of great importance in the Bío Bío region. In addition, support is provided for the development of the committees and the commercialization of products, a challenge that is common for all the members of the Board.
